We all have those days when everything just feels… off. You’re tired, you’re frustrated, and when you look yourself in the mirror you’re not all that pleased with the reflection. If you’re a beginner and keep trying to convince yourself to start now’s the time – yes, right now. Not tomorrow, or when you’re less tired. It’s right now, when you feel useless and frustrated. Even a long walk or a simple set of at-home exercises will help a ton because you’ll get rid of that negative energy and you’ll be aware that you’ve done something to focus on yourself.

Take a New Approach to Diet

Don’t think in terms of calories, scales, and dress sizes. Think more in terms of health and what will make you feel good, what will, in the long run, give you energy and willpower and joy. Instead of staring at the cookie jar and feeling sad that you can’t have any (or eating them and then feeling sad that you’ve eaten them), why not get up and bake your own healthy version of cookies?
