Life News
This month has been a tough one. My anxiety has been absolutely crippling once again which has spoiled the majority of this month for me. However, there have been some good parts:
Trip to York – We had an amazing trip to York, England in the middle of July. It was a much-needed getaway and it couldn’t have come at a better time! I don’t want to say too much about it now because I’ve written a whole post about it which you can read here:

Our First Flea Market – Amy and I had a stall in our very first flea market in Belfast selling vintage and pre-loved clothes and accessories. The whole day was brilliant craic, we met some lovely people and by the end we had made over £110.00. Not bad for first-timers! In fact, we loved taking part in the Belfast Flea so much that we’re doing the next one too.
So if you’re around in Belfast on Sunday 12th August – come and visit us at the Sunflower Pub between 12pm and 5pm – we’d love to see you.
Blogging News
I’m sure you can see I’ve done a total re-vamp on Megan Says. I have a new theme, added some new categories and changed up some of the site pages. It’s like “new year, new me” in the middle of the year! It was time for a change and it has really helped me to get my blogging mojo back, which I’m SO grateful for.
I also went to my very first beauty event as a blogger, the Fenty Beauty Pop Up shop – you can read all about it here:

I’ve also been focussing on growing my Instagram this month and I actually have gained a tonne of new followers. If you’re not already following me, why not? Find me at: @MsMegan91
Now onto my favourites…
This month I’ve been…
Reading
BOOK – I finished “Where Are You Now?” by Mary Higgins Clark. It was brilliant all the way through but I was very disappointed in the ending. I’ve started “Just Haven’t Met You Yet” by Cate Woods which is quite different to the type of books that I would usually read but I’m enjoying it so far.
BLOGS – My favourite blog that I’ve been reading this month is Milk Bubble Tea. Becky’s blog is super girly and pink, which I love. Her photography is also amazing – I’m so jealous of her skills! Head over to her blog, have a read and show her some love.
Listening to..
Once again, there hasn’t been one particular artist that I’ve been listening to in July but these are my Top 3 songs of the month:
Lullaby – Sigala and Paloma Faith
These Days (Rudimental, Jess Glynne and Macklemore
Warrior – Demi Lovato (Get well soon – you’ve got this!)
Wearing (Fashion)
My favourite piece of clothing that I got this month was from Vintage and Retro on Botanic Avenue, Belfast. I’m really loving floral shirts at the moment this one was only £4.50!
Watching
I spent the whole month addicted to Love Island and now that it’s over I don’t know what to do with myself! If you have any recommendations for box-sets or Netflix series’ that I should start, leave them below!
Looking forward to…
Belfast Pride – Every year I go to Pride with my best friends (and Amy of course). This year’s Pride is on 4th August so if you’re around come and say hello! It’s always a brilliant day and night out and hopefully this year will be no different.
Poland – We booked a trip to Poland with our friend Kieran – it’s not until November but it’s something to look forward to in the next few months!
