My name is Megan (obviously) and I’m a 20-something year old trying to navigate my way in the world.
I live with my girlfriend Amy in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Before moving back to Belfast in 2013, I lived in York, England for 3 years while I was at University.
I have a full-time job so blogging is a side project for me but I would love it to be my full-time gig one day.
I have suffered from anxiety for a number of years. Using my online platform to help to break down the stigma surrounding mental health is SO important to me. My mental illness does not define me, nor will I let it be a barrier to my success.
When I’m not blogging, I’m usually found either catching up with friends, travelling, selling vintage clothing/accessories on Depop or binge-watching reality TV (sorry not sorry for that one!).
About Megan Says
I created Megan Says in October 2017 and at the time I had no idea just how much I would love blogging.
The main reasons that I started blogging were:
1. I love writing and I needed a creative outlet
2. I want to help people through sharing my own experiences. This could be recommending a product/service etc, sharing blogging tips or letting my readers know that they’re not alone in their mental health journeys.
I encourage my readers to leave comments under posts that they’ve enjoyed or relate to – with a view to building friendships and starting meaningful conversations about things that we’re all passionate about.
The opportunities that have come my way since I started blogging have changed my life and I couldn’t be more grateful for them. If you’re a brand and would like to get in touch about a collaboration – visit this page and let’s get started!
I’m very excited to own this little corner of the internet and I’m even more excited to share it with you. I post twice per week – so please keep coming back!
